TOYOTA OF NEW BERN, NORTH CAROLINA HAS A SERVICE DEPARTMENT 2ND TO NONE! THE REASON IS THEY HAVE AN AMAZING, WELL TRAINED, PROFESSIONAL "TEAM"! FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER, TO THE SERVICE ADVISERS, TO THE TECHNICIANS, AND NOT TO LEAVE OUT THEIR OFFICE STAFF.

UNFORTUNATELY WE MAKE TIME TO LET SOMEONE KNOW WHEN SOMETHING IS "NOT" TO OUR SATISFACTION, BUT FIND IT HARDER TO TAKE TIME OUT TO BRAG ON WHAT IS EXCELLENT! THEREFORE I AM MAKING THE TIME TO SHARE HOW BLESSED I AM FOR THE SERVICE DEPT HERE IN NEW BERN NC. IN LOOSING MY HUSBAND A FEW YEARS AGO AND NOT HAVING A TOYOTA VEHICLE; MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN AMAZING! THEY SERVICE MY CAR, INFORM ME OF ANY UPCOMING/NEEDED MAINTENANCE AND KEEP ME SAFELY ON THE ROAD. I WATCH THEM TAKE THE TIME TO GIVE THIS SAME EXCELLENT SERVICE TO "ALL" CUSTOMERS. IT IS AMAZING WHEN YOU CAN FIND A TRUSTED MECHANIC AND NOTHING SHORT OF A MIRACLE WHEN YOU CAN FIND A TRUSTED TEAM SUCH AS THE ONE AT NEW BERN NC TOYOTA DEALERSHIP!! THEY DESERVE PRAISE! I AM SO GRATEFUL TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEIR TEAM MEMBERS! I REGRET NOT TAKING THE TIME SOONER TO SHARE THEIR EXCELLENT QUALITY OF SERVICE AND PEOPLE, THANK YOU!!

Makes a horrible vibrating rubbing sound when driven. Toyota refused to make an exception on the
Warranty, total charges $4100 for ab6 yr old truck with only 50k miles on it!!! And guess what? Same
Problem persists. Dealership lied, charged us for unauthorized work and customer care said nothing
They can do because it is a service issue. We paid $5k more for a tundra based on the reviews, we got
taken. Piece of garbage truck and now we are forced to return to the same scam dealership to have it
worked on again. NEVER again will we buy a Toyota.

I lease a 2011 Tacoma I got my monthly statement with a flyer in it advertising a Toyota Tire Savings Event Buy 3 get the 4th for $1 Went to the dealer and was advised he did not particiapte in that program. Called Toyota customer service. They had no idea about anything. Before I leased the Tacoma a had a Ridgeline from Honda. Honda is a much better company to do business with.

Toyota: No warranty on my truck because I'm re-stationed to Hawaii 1/7/13

To Whom It may Concern: I am active duty United States Navy. I purchased a 2013 Toyota Tacoma in August (4 months ago) in San Diego, California and have since been re-stationed to the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I am being told by the dealerships here and Toyota "Customer Care" line that I have absolutely no warranty on my Brand New 2013 Toyota Tacoma because the United States Government has re-stationed me to Oahu, Hawaii. One of the 50 states of America. And I now have absolutely no warranty on my brand new 2013 Truck. I have been on half a dozen deployments fighting for my country, am active duty Navy and Toyota will not give me the warranty that I paid over Thirty Grand for? I am extremely upset by this and plan on taking this to anyone and everyone that will listen until this is fixed. Please have someone contact me with a means to fix this obvious mistake that Toyota is making. I will explore ALL avenues to have this fixed. Thank you. Travis J Pratt

12/14/2012 Toyota - I bought a 2007 Camry Hybrid new from a local
I bought a 2007 Camry Hybrid new from a local dealer. The 12 volt battery is in the trunk which means it is less subject to the extreme heat under the hood and it should last longer there. When it went dead over night, I could not start the hybrid system and had to jump start it in order to go to a dealer. I found that there was no after market battery which could be used for replacement, according to both Toyota dealers and battery companies. The dealer charged me $385 to replace the Panasonic original battery with an identical battery. Worse, the new battery has only a ONE year warranty! Almost any battery made today carries a 3 year replacement warranty, but not a cheapskate Toyota.
I have since sold the car and bought a new Hyundai Hybrid. It gets better mileage and a replacement 12V battery is available almost anywhere.
