”Your company SUCKS!!!! Used to be the Bell system – no problem. Then you went and changed everything, and now the company is know as “Absolute Trash & Asinine” (AT&T) !! Our friend who is seriously diabetic was promised phone service by 8 p.m. last evening! Now it’s the next day at 12:15 p.m. Still no service. If he has a seizure and no phone service, I hope he sues you for millions, providing he lives!
As an AT&T customer I have had to call them every month to make attempts to correct my bill and this month will be no exception. I am entitled to a 20% discount agreed upon by GM and AT&T. AT&T has acknowledged and verified the discount on 4/3/2014. To this date I have not received the discount. I wrote a letter to John Dwyer, Senior Vice President, Customer Experience on May 13, 2014 and have not received a reply nor have I been contacted by anyone from AT&T in reference to my letter. Mr. Dwyer is listed in LinkedIn with outstanding customer service credentials. If this is the case why doesn’t he exercise this service? I’m frustrated because there isn’t anyone in AT&T that can provide answers or resolve a situation for their customer. Poor service, add-on costs to monthly bills…where does it stop and who can provide the necessary answers I need. I’ll be on the phone again this coming week doing their job in correcting MY bill. The words assist, help, solve, help, don’t seem to exist when contacting AT&T.
Singular most frustrating company to deal with re service. Uverse signal gone twice in one week which means tv, internet, AND home phone. ATT always ‘ sorry’ to hear about trouble and they ‘ understand your frustration’ ( like hell they do!). They book appts, change them without informing you, rebook for later – or next day (s), all while you’re waiting at home having rearranged your entire schedule for people who dont show up. The prize: shoddy customer service, intermittent to no home service, horrendously high bills. Oh and ‘thank you for choosing ATT’!! What you don’t hear at the end of your call is ‘…sucker’.
Recent change to email page is a disaster! Another needless change for the sake of change. The new page is no longer intuitive, simple and easy to navigate. It is now complicated, difficult and no longer intuitive. All I get in return is the me, me message. An apt reminder of who made the changes.
This is the final straw, goodbye ATT.
You are the worse company somebody needs to review what is going on in this company . I am so sick of your services I have a bundle and down graded to u family then you went up on my bill .Now you say that it will cost me
$180.00 to cancel. But I am going to let u go. Sorry and I want be coming back. I am sick ,sick, sick of u.
Impossible to reach a real person; after talking to several who could not converse in intelligible english, I finally talked with an AMERICAN in Kentucky. I was so excited that I almost forgot how poor my service is. I recently moved to Georgia. I have had a telephone line running across my driveway, out in the street and then through my lawn for over three months. I have requested that it be buried and out of the way. If it is not done in about three days, AT&T can pick up their line in the street. I have not been able to reach anyone (until today, hopefully) who can do anything about my problem. I have a neighbor who works for AT&T; he said he uses another company. Great testimony.

I purchase a Samsung 4 a month ago.Around a week ago I could not get my charger to connect onto the phone.I did not force it.Just tried repeatedly to connect. I took it into my local store(Parker and the Tollway in Plano)My husband also attempted to connect. When I went into the store I could not believe it but it connected correctly. For the next week I had no problems,it occured again this morning. Brought back to same at and t and they stated a pin was bent inside the phone. I told her I never forced anything in the phone. She stated it was still under warranty and I needed to bring it into a megastore in Addison,Texas.I drove down the tollway and they said sorry we can not get you another phone and you have to bring it into Samsung and they would charge me 35.00.I was irate as I made a trip for nothing and the store manage was not in so I spoke with Finch. He stated they would take care of the problem right away. Took another toolway and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. Samsung was very helpful and said that it would be covered under my warranty.Very pleased by customer service at Samsung, N]Ver unsatisfied with at andt. I think they need to credit my account for my tolls as they sent me on a wild goose chase.
It is with great joy that I no longer have an AT&T cell phone. I’m planning a huge AT&T wake, after which we will bury the phone in the yard since it is usually dead anyway. Everyone in town will be invited, and considering the number of very unhappy AT&T cell phone users, I may need a larger plot of land. It is easy to tell unhappy users since they are always standing in the middle of the street, trying to get a decent connection. Can you hear me now?
Every time I need assistance with these people they transfer me to some idiot Indonesian person who speaks poor English and does not care to solve your problem. They read off a script card. Customer service at at&t is PATHETIC
My phone network lock on. so my phone not support sim card. now please give me one soluation .
You all replaced the service pole in my yardafter the stroms in feb. y”all left the old ploe up are you going to remove this they also left holes on my yard. please reply with some information as to what plans y”all my have. I havn’t been able to find the service /repair phone #
thanks Jack
I bought a new cell phone and have had trouble sitting up the email section – was told it would cost me $49.99 for help – not a happy customer and have been with AT&T for over 40 years – guess loyalty does not pay anymore. I even did an online chat and they were pleasant and gave me help but it really was all the wrong information and still no email with new phone. I even went into one of the stand alone stores to ask for help and was told that they would not know anything about my phone. Any one who can read should be able to follow all the instructions if you just have the correct information to plug in think they did not want to be troubled) Well yes it is not a AT&T phone it is from Tracfone LG840g but it does support my email service if someone was kind enough to help me with that information. I have a tablet that when I called they were more than happy to give me the information I needed to use my AT&T email service. I have not found many business that are making money to be very helpful anymore – guess I come from the old school where you business was appreciated.
I would like to just let ATT know what a wonderful esperience I had with one of their customer service reps. Her name is Latasha (LT2130), in Shreveport Louisiana. First of all, I knew nothing about what I needed to do to install my wireless internet, in my home through my tablet. I’m going to make this long story short, but I came through the whole ordeal because of the expert knowledge and the sheer patiences and kindness of Latasha. She took the time and walked me through the whole process. I was slow in finding the numbers and codes to key into my table, but I never did detect a single time when she was ready to give up on me. Often times you can be on the phone with a rep. and you here in their voice that they just wish they could hang up the phone on this person, but not with Latasha. In this day and age I can really apreciate “GOOD” customer service, and thats exactly what I got from Latasha. She should be comended. Thanks Brenda
I do not know what is going on with AT&T but, it is ridiculous! My phone bill have been coming to the same address for 14 years, now I’m having a difficult time getting my phone bill. Which at this point has been about 3 months! I keep calling AT&T requesting my bill and they keep doing crazy things to my account. Frist, it went to another address and I was told that someone went to the post office and did a change of address, which is stupid and not true considering all my other mail was coming to my current address. Next, when I called again, I was told that my account was made paperless. I did not authorize any of these changes! They are pretty much doing what they want. Needless to say I’m speechless. Even worst, they have the nerve to want me to purchase AT&T U-verse service……It they cannot get my bill correct, why would I take on any additional services? Like I said, CRAZY!
I live in Clifton Heights, PA on Marple Ave., and there is an AT&T substation directly across the street from me. Nothing has been done for years to do ANYTHING to this building or property for upkeep, including painting, grass cutting, and snow removal. The building number is PFT2S, and the phone number that is listed on the building is not in service. The local stores don’t have a phone number to report this, they are there only for customers. This place has looked terrible for years, and I would like to bring it to someone’s attention about getting something done. Any information would be great, and can be emailed to
I have A.T.&T I was VERY unhappy with my service I had another company for my T.V. service but they gave me a good price for u verse, there have been a couple of glitches that I have had to call for & both times I found I got right thru to a person problem was solved & they are sending some out in the morning to check outside wire which their system show had a problem. I have been a long time user of ATT I am a senior now & got my first phone in my name in my teens, I believe they are going back to using people unstead of machines, it would be a shame for a company that all of us grew up with disappeared.
For many years I have relied on AT&T to provide me communications connections. AT&T used to be the best you could get. But now, AT&T, you are losing your market share. Your customer service is terrible.
Here is how it has gone for me recently. It took over one week to get any kind of telephone service at all when I moved. One person reported that it took much longer than that–over three weeks! My husband is handicapped and MUST have Life Alert, which uses the phone for communication. I am taking a big risk by leaving the house to work unless it is connected.
I have been bounced around from one customer service provider to another and, in the process, been cut off time and time again. I have waited and waited many long hours and have given the very same information over and over again, only to learn that I am not speaking to the correct person/department/division. Also I hate talking to machines!
Your company is huge–like the US government. All of us little guys add up to a lot of money for you. Take care of us, and you’ll survive. If not, be expecting a huge loss. Customers remember how they were treated, and they tell everyone else. Good luck!
Att customer complaint:
Several days ago around 02/12/2014 not sure , I contacted att because of a problem i was having . my tenant has hughesnet satalite and when i went on line from telephone, i was also using his satalite, taking his download time from him. I decided to see if you had some way of taking care of the problem and the only way it could be resolved was to mount a satalite dish from att, making me a high speed and not having to interfere with the hughes net satalite dish. Att assured me they could fix the problem. They hooked me up with the satalite company and i told them i work ony with att and that i wanted to be billed thru att,and they assured me the billing was att. Well they came out installed the satalite , no charge except the initial charge of 49.44 which I paid by credit card. The technition from direct tv came , installed and left. The only thing left he told me to do is go and electronically sign for the commetment on the system and i would pay 9.99 monthly for the rental of the satalite and whatever other charges there was. I went online and downloaded the contract and no where on the contract was the name att. I was dupped. I have not electronically or otherwise signed this contract and have continually called att about this problem. This was supposed to be att not another company. My billing was supposed to be through att, not contracted out to another company, I’ll admit it is nice to have the satalite but am really mad that att would give me to another company and and now have two bills for internet services. Can you fix this stupid problem
What is going on do you always give your customers this treatment? The money they took from my account was over 75$ and i still got to pay you all for my internet
I am one upset woman, as i am disabled, on disability and now have two internet bills plus the satalite system. Which was all supposed to be att. Was asured it was att. Direct tv came out, via sat equipment and totaly different billing. Again i still have not signed contract.
Sending all information to you maybe you can figure who done this, and straighten this out.
Mary
Worst service ever. Customer non-service. Frustrating and every chat/phone call leads to a dead end. No use trying to reach a live person. That jerk on the automated system sure is “friendly” though, while she helps you with absolutely NOTHING!!!!
Land line service: Every month my billing statement is charged higher than the prior bill. Every month I call, spend half the day getting a supervisor to correct my bill. The following month I have to spend my day again on the phone trying to get an agent that can speak English to get my bill corrected. The agent lie to you, they tell you that your bill will not change next month, that they have it all taken care of. They know they are the only phone service in our area so they can charge what ever they want. So every month you have no idea what your bill will be as it is different every month. You can count on one thing it will be always higher! I do not believe this is legal!
It is a shame that we are so quick to complain, I find it hard to believe in this vast universe that there is no one happy and appreciative of the service when the problem is solved. I, also experience an unhappy predicament…end result issues solved.
What happen to the THANK YOU, when everything is going right?
Thank you AT&T

I want to compliment a sales associate by the name of Matt who waited on me at the ATT store on Hickory Point Drive, Decatur,Illinois. I went there to see about my Galaxy 4S phone case that was guaranteed for one year. Matt knowing that I wasn’t going to purchase anything took the time and ordered my new phone case. That was a first from an ATT employee knowing he wasn’t making a sale. He opened the door when I left and wished me a Merry Christmas. Very much appreciated.
I’ve had a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active for 5 months. It quit charging and I was told to see a 2 different dealers. Both told me that it will cost me $400 to fix and I’m under warranty. Thanks AT&T for nothing. I’m transferring to Verizon where they know a little about customer service!
Sooner or later your P_ _ _ Poor service will catch up with. At&t & Walmart must have the same CEO.
